In the sunny village of Rodeneck in the heart of South Tyrol lies the Hospehof farm. You will be welcomed into the farm, immersed in nature and peace.
The farm dates back to 1627, has been completely renovated and today combines modern comfort with the ancient peasant tradition. The 2 apartments, modernly furnished, offer a warm and familiar atmosphere and guarantee a pleasant and relaxing stay.
For hiking enthusiasts, Rodenecker Alm is the ideal destination: it is one of the largest plateaus in Europe. In addition, the Alpine Gitschberg Jochtal plants are particularly appreciated by skiers in the winter season.
Hosp was quoted for the first time in 1627. The existence of the property is however much older. The farm is a typical farm with a bakery and “Hospenkapelle” (chapel – 1700). On the outer facade of the house are depicted ancient paintings of saints to which it is dedicated. In 1985 the house, the chapel and the oven were placed under monumental protection . In 2004, Hospenkapelle has been carefully restored and is still used today.
In 2017 the whole house was completely renovated. In addition to two private residential units, the two apartments were created for guests, combining old elements with new furnishings. This has helped to create a very special atmosphere that can only be breathed in an ancient building like this.
The family of peasant tradition will be happy to welcome guests who will choose this historic farm as a holiday destination.
